Taco Hell: "Twin Peaks References and Depression" (Punknews Exclusive)
by

Today, Punknews is pleased to debut the new tune by Taco Hell.

"Twin Peaks References and Depression" was written by the group via a hive mind mentality. The band members each wrote down a line about Twin Peaks and lead singer Joe randomly picked one of the phrases and then constructed a tune around it without eve actually having seen an episode of the show. The result is a fractured piece of dream pop that tilts between an ethereal shimmering and a combustible breakdown. There are traces of both Ian Curtis and Robert Smith here and that combination of the smooth and jagged works surprisingly well.

You can pre-order the band's new album right here. Meanwhile, check out the whole thing below, right now!
